Front turn signal lighting options installed using WeiserCAN & WeiserCAN cabling kits
Adding front turn signal / running light optional functionality to your WeiserCAN equipped motorcycle. (video info link here)
After installing WeiserCAN there are currently four options to further control and add functionality to your existing front turn signals. These options offer improved rider safety with enhanced conspicuity and road “presence” for your motorcycle. All options are 100% Plug & Play.
These options require the installation of the WeiserCAN front cabling kit. This cable kit also includes “FAD” connection adapters for both OEM and Weiser turn signal fitment dependent on which basic front lighting set-up is desired.
Enhanced option 3 allows the activation of two sets of turn signals in the Enduro position (sides of headlight) and handguard in Amber simultaneously via use of splitter options.
Enhanced option 4 the Enduro positioned Weiser front dual function white DRL /amber turn signal are activated
OPTION 1 – BMW OEM FRONT turn signals
Operating your Front OEM turn signals as daytime/nighttime AMBER coloured running lights.
For installation with BMW OEM supplied front ‘Enduro’ or ‘Handguard’ positioned turn signals and (compatible with both North American and Rest of the World spec bikes).
Use your existing OEM turn signals as ‘always on’ AMBER running lights when not indicating a turn. The brightness of the running light setting can be adjusted from On/Off with settings through to full brightness via the WeiserCAN program options.
Requirements: Front plug and play cable kit comes with all you need to operate this option (PART No. WCAN-FC-101112)
OPTION 2 – WeiserCAN EXT EVO FRONT turn signals
Operating the alternative Weiser ‘EXT-CAN’ Front Dual-function turn signals with brightness controlled DRL functions.
This variation is similar to Option 1 in operation but offers bright WHITE LED day and night running lights with AMBER turn function. Again DRL fully programmable dimming through ON/OFF. This set up requires the fitting of the Weiser EXT-CAN Front lights via the front WeiserCAN cable kit.
Requirements: Front plug and play cable kit (PART No. WCAN-FC-101112)
WeiserCAN EXT-CAN DTC LED multi-function turn signals (PART No. EXT-CAN-DTC-Rev2)
OPTIONS 3 & 4 – FRONT & HANDGUARD turn signals
Enduro positioned turn signals and handguard turn signals operated as above as running lights and turn signals or just turn signals.
OPTION 3
BMW OEM front turn signals in both Enduro and handguard positions.
OPTION 4
Uses Weiser EXT-CAN front White/Amber multi-function turn signals together with BMW OEM handguard turn signals. Option 4 requires HAN 2 splitter adapters.
Full kit bundle options available dependent on whether your bike was supplied with Enduro turn signals or handguard turn signals from new.
When ordering please select whether fitment is for a R1300 GS or R1300 GS Adventure as parts compatibility may differ.
OEM Handguard kit Bundle:
To install with existing OEM Enduro turn signals from new.
Adding the OEM handguard kit – the kit includes:
- Standard Plug and play front cabling kit (PART No. WCAN-FC-101112)
- With a pair of ‘HAN 3’ connector splitters (Part No. HAN3-17)
- BMW OEM handguard turn signals with all OEM cables

**For North American owners additional option of European style front OEM turn signals to replace North American spec turn signals. (Brighter than the US spec turn signals but also smaller, shorter and less liable to damage) (Part No. WCAN-BMW-SFT-088)

To install with existing OEM Handguard turn signals. The kit includes:
- Standard Plug and play front cabling kit (PART No. WCAN-FC-101112)
And choice of either:
- European style OEM turn signals (Part No. WCAN-BMW-SFT-088)
- With a pair of ‘HAN 3’ splitter connectors (Part No. HAN3-17)
